Get Munching!
Eating a handful of nuts five or more times a week can halve your chance of developing heart disease, say experts. In particular, tree nuts such as almonds, Brazil nuts, cashews, chestnuts, hazelnuts, macadamias, pecans, pine nuts, pistachios and walnuts are packed full of substances for good heart health. Snack on plain, unsalted nuts as a way to help lower blood cholesterol levels. Even people who eat nuts once a week have less heart disease than those who don't eat any nuts. So get munching!
