Canberra Spring Festival Rally 2008 FAQ


Q. What is the date for the final payment?
A. Final payment must be made by the 31 May 2008



Q. Where is the venue for the spring rally?
A. The spring rally will be held at EPIC (Exhibition Park Canberra). EPIC is located on the corner of Northbourn Avenue and Flemington Road



Q. Where are the sites located in epic?
A. Take the main entrance (gate 2) into EPIC off Flemmington Rd, turn left down Central Park for the Registration and Marshaling area. The sites are located in Wagtail Way and Quokka areas. There is a copy of the Epic map on the web site.



Q. Is Electricity Available?
A. Yes there are ample 15amp power outlets however you may be required to join two power cords together. If this is the case please use a Clipsal cord joiner and place it in a plastic bag held off the ground.



 Q. Is water available?
 A. Yes water is available although there will not be enough taps for everyone. Vans could be coupled together from van to van or keep water tanks topped up. A suggestion is to arrive with full tanks.



 Q. What are the grey water arrangements?
A. The majority of the sites will need the grey water caught in a suitable container and emptied into sumps located at the water tap areas



Q. Access to EPIC?
A. Come in to EPIC through the main gates (gate 2)off Flemmington Rd. Follow the signs to the registration and marshalling area where you will be shown to you site. There is plenty of room to maneuver and all sites are flat.



Q. Can clubs or groups have their sites together?
A. If people wish to have sites together they will need to register together on arrival at EPIC.



Q. Is there a black water dump point?
A. Yes there is, it is located at the Cotter Camp area approximately 400 meters from the rally site.



Q. Do you have to be a member of a caravan club to attend the rally?
A. No you don't have to be a member of a club all interested caravaners can join us.



Q. Is the cost of the rally the same for "Solo" caravaners?
A. The rally fee for "Solo" caravaners is $230, The site fees remain the same, any additional nights pre rally or post rally will be $17 per night.



Q. Are pets allowed at EPIC and the spring rally?
A. Yes pets are allowed at EPIC and the spring rally, however there are house rules. Your pets must be restrained at all times and you must clean up after your pets. Pets are not allowed in the meeting / happy hour area.



Q. Can sites be pre booked for groupes or clubs?
A. No pre booking of sites will be accepted. Sites will be allocated on arirval at EPIC, if your group would like sites together this will be done during the registration process at EPIC
